The team behind GTLC

The Grand Trail des Lacs & Châteaux is, above all, a human adventure.

Behind every edition is a team of enthusiasts, volunteers, partners, and staff who work year-round to bring the event to life.

Today, the development of the GTLC is led by GTLC Events, with a founding team consisting of:

  • Michael Louys
  • Aline Lejeune
  • Sports Events

Together, we share a common goal: to grow the GTLC brand while preserving the essence that has made it successful since its inception.

LE NOYAU D'OR

Making the trail a success
The Noyau d’Or continues to play a vital role in the development and organization of the GTLC.
𝗖𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗨.... EXCEPTIONAL!
We're proud to be able to accomplish such things with such beautiful people!
Lots of stress, anxiety, sleep deprivation, BUT also so many other things that are strong and uplifting... twists and turns, silliness, joy, friendship, laughter, emotions... tears and so much more!
All so different, but so complementary. It's like a family, so intense! The GTLC family!
They're top-notch ... and the GTLC is so beautiful thanks in no small part to them!
Always adventurous weekends with unforgettable memories. Magical moments both in sporting and human terms!
To you Chris, the source is well passed on, your baby is in good hands. We continue to help it grow, respecting its values and DNA, with our ideas, our convictions, our innovations and our boundless energy!
"There are no coincidences, only appointments.
You're all exceptional, each in your own way...
Thank you for contributing to these absolutely brilliant moments of sharing and unforgettable emotions.
To our own moments #NoyaudOR

Laurent, in charge of the race HQ, but also a signaller and much more! With a great sense of humour, his analysis is often very accurate, constantly challenging and always aimed at improving the GTLC spirit.

Olivier

Repatriation manager

Most of the time, Olivier is only in his repatriation vehicle. Even if he doesn't feel the atmosphere of the site, the adrenalin, he meets every runner who has a story to tell, wherever they come from. He receives thanks and praise for the organization, the refreshments, the kindness of the volunteers and, above all, for the fact that, exhausted and injured, he brings the runners to safety and drives them back!

Gilles

Site coordination Ovifat

His hands and his head are gold...
He coordinates the entire Ovifat site like a true site manager.
He's the one who sets up and takes down everything!

Danielle

Race HQ security and casualty reception

She uses her knowledge for the benefit of the GTLC and the safety of all runners on the GTLC trails.
Her role: to take your call at race HQ, reassure the runner or determine what help he or she needs.

Pierre

Logistics and Official for the C.B.
By the way, where was he at the time of the group photo...? No, Pierre always has his wits about him... no doubt filling a hole, tidying up, helping out wherever he's needed.
An invaluable help with all the logistics before and after the event.
He is also OFFICIAL for the Belgian championships we hosted in May 2023 and November 2024.

Estelle

Calculating food supplies, routing, managing teams of volunteers at strategic feeding points and living quarters, she's the one!
Everything has been thought out and improved from one edition to the next... You won't miss a thing!
