GT12² & GT12 - A DUO OR SOLO IN THE HEART OF THE VALLEY AND THE FAGNE
The perfect introduction to the world of trail running.
The GT12 features a 12-kilometer course with 418 meters of elevation gain. It’s an accessible event designed for those who want to try trail running in a natural setting with professional guidance.
Shorter than previous editions, the GT12 offers a more direct experience while retaining the essence of the GTLC Winter: varied trails, dynamic terrain, and a chance to immerse yourself in the heart of the Ardennes countryside.
With its mix of forest trails, open-country sections, and slightly technical stretches, the course lets you get your bearings, pace yourself, and get a taste of what trail running is all about.
The highlight of the race: the legendary climb up the Ovifat ski slope. A memorable finish—accessible yet challenging—that will cap off your effort and leave a lasting impression.
The GT12 is a first-time experience, a first step, or simply the joy of running in the great outdoors over a short, fast-paced distance.
An ideal format for beginners… and one that often makes you want to take it further.
