These Terms and Conditions govern:

  • Use of the grandtrail.be website
  • the terms and conditions for registration, participation, and refunds for sporting events organized by Enjoy Sport Infinity ASBL
  1. Acceptance of Terms

Registration for any event constitutes unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The participant acknowledges having read this information prior to confirming their registration.

  1. Registration

4.1 Nature of the registration

All registrations are:

  • registered
  • personal
  • final and binding upon payment

The transfer of race numbers is prohibited unless otherwise explicitly permitted by the organizers.

4.2 Validation

Registration is confirmed only after:

  • full payment
  • receipt of the requested information

The organization reserves the right to reject any incomplete registration.

  1. Terms and Conditions

The participant declares:

  • be in good physical condition
  • be physically fit enough to run outdoors
  • participate at one's own risk

The participant agrees to:

  • Follow the route and safety instructions
  • to adjust one's efforts to one's abilities
  • to assist anyone in need
  1. Liability

Participation in events is entirely at the participant’s own risk.

The organizer shall not be held liable in the event that:

  • an accident caused by carelessness or negligence
  • physical failure
  • loss or theft of personal belongings
  • failure to comply with the regulations
  1. Insurance

It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are properly insured.

The organizer has liability insurance covering the event, but not individual injuries sustained by participants.

  1. Change or cancellation of the event

The organization reserves the right to:

  • change the route
  • adjust the schedule
  • postpone or cancel the event

In particular, in the following cases:

  • dangerous weather conditions
  • for security reasons
  • force majeure

No refunds will be issued in these cases, unless the organization makes an exception.

  1. Cancellation and Refund

9.1 General Principle

All registrations are final and non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued except in the cases specifically listed below.

9.2 Injury or Pregnancy

In the following cases:

  • a non-chronic musculoskeletal or muscle injury that occurs after enrollment
  • pregnancy (due date between 6 months before and 6 months after the race)

The organization advises participants not to expose themselves to unnecessary risks and proceeds to cancel their registration.

9.3 Validation Requirements

Any cancellation request must:

  • be emailed to info@grandtrail.be
  • be received by the bib transfer deadline
  • be accompanied by a complete medical record, including:
    • a detailed medical report
    • imaging results confirming the diagnosis
    • documents written in French or English
    • signed and stamped by a doctor

Any incomplete application will be rejected.

9.4 Refund Policy

If approved:

  • refund = registration fee – €5 administrative fee

9.5 Exceptional Cases

In the event of:

  • serious illness
  • death of the participant

The registration fee will be fully refunded (excluding fees).

The participant or their beneficiaries must provide:

  • an official medical certificate
    OR
  • a death certificate
  1. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with European Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities provided on a specific date.

  1. Prices and Payment

Prices are listed in euros.

Payment is processed through a secure platform.

Registration is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

  1. Personal Data (GDPR)

The data collected is necessary for:

  • registration management
  • event planning
  • communication with participants

In accordance with the GDPR, every user has the following rights:

  • access
  • correction
  • deletion
  • restriction of processing

The participant expressly authorizes the organization to:

  • use one's image (photo, video)
  • distribute this content across all platforms (website, social media, promotional materials)

Without financial compensation.

Reproduction is prohibited without prior written permission.

  1. Cookies

This website uses cookies to:
