GT 35 - ON THE EDGE OF THE MARATRAIL
An intense format, set against the backdrop of a challenging course.
The GT35 features a course of approximately 38 km with over 1,350 meters of elevation gain. It’s a challenging distance where pace and mastery of the terrain make all the difference.
In 2026, the GT35 will host the Belgian Short-Distance Trail Championships, making this event a major highlight of the calendar. The course is designed to showcase the skills of the top athletes, while remaining accessible to runners looking to improve their performance.
The course winds through the heart of the Warche Valley, over technical and varied terrain. With a mix of challenging sections and smoother stretches, every kilometer demands adaptability and precision.
Runners will pass through some of the GTLC’s most iconic landmarks: Lake Robertville, the Ridge Trail, Reinhardstein Castle, and the Nez de Napoléon. These memorable sections punctuate the race and offer breathtaking views.
