WG 29 - ON THE EDGE OF THE MARATRAIL
A dynamic format, set against iconic landscapes.
The GT29 features a course of approximately 29 km with 1,108 meters of elevation gain. It’s a dynamic route—accessible yet challenging—ideal for runners looking to combine intensity with the thrill of the terrain.
The route quickly immerses you in the atmosphere of the GTLC Winter, with a must-see stretch through the Warche Valley, where the rugged terrain and technical challenges set the tone.
Participants will then take the ridge trail, which offers sweeping views and a welcome breather before diving back into more challenging sections.
A highlight of the route: the legendary climb up the Ovifat ski slope. A short but grueling ascent that will put your stamina to the test and leave a lasting impression.
The GT29 is a fast-paced race, featuring a series of accelerations and strategic pacing, on varied and challenging terrain.
A compact, intense race that captures the very essence of trail running in a manageable format.
